Paper Beddings

Paper beddings are not the best at absorbing urine, and may need to be changed more often than wood beddings.

	Carefresh Carefresh comes in a wide variety of colors and is easy to acquire. This bedding can be very dusty. It is very absorbent and can be fluffed up by your gerbils to make soft nests.
	Eco-Bedding Eco-Bedding is another great product. It is hypoallergenic. It can be used as bedding or for nest building. Its is also very absorbent. It is dust free so if you have a gerbil (or yourself) that is sensitive to dust this is a good alternative for bedding.
	Soft-Sorbent Very similar to carefresh, but less dusty.
	Newspaper Pellets

You may find that the best kind of bedding is a mixture of all three of these products. When used together they provide a very unique digging opportunity. For some strange reason when they are mixed they make a perfect medium for building nests and tunnels. If provided with a deep layer of bedding these can become very complex.
